Spotters’ Penetrator lens is a high contrast bronze polarised photochromic glass lens that blocks glare, filters blue light and gives the sharpest definition. PHOTOCHROMIC PROPERTIES
The Penetrator is also equipped with an amazing photochromic property that automatically adjusts to prevailing light conditions. The Penetrator’s photochromic properties react to the presence of UV rays, causing the lens to darken. When the UV rays diminish, the reaction ceases and the lenses lighten and adjust accordingly. The transition is seamless and will not impede your vision.
The Penetrator’s Photochromic molecules are embedded within a layer of distortion free, scratch resistant glass. As a result, the photochromic properties of the lens will last the life of your sunglasses – guaranteed*.

The visible spectrum of light is composed of many different colours; however the sun’s blue rays are the shortest in the spectrum, which means they land in front of your retina. The result is chromatic aberration, where the chaotic scattering of blue light interferes with the other colours as they enter the eye. Hazy and unclear images are the result.
